1)
Can you tell us a little about your book?
The book is all about dreams. It revolves around love, emotions, sacrifices, and heartbreaks.
Why is it so necessary for someone to accomplish their goal? Is it essential than everything, or is it just madness? Ryan Sharma, Neha, and Shazia Malik, the lead characters in this book, will help you unfold this dilemma.
2)
Is there a specific event that inspired this story, or was this an out-of-the-blue idea?
It's a random idea.
3)
What got you writing in the first place?
I always wanted to be a writer. However, I lacked focus and chose to be an engineer instead. But this work from home had allowed me to follow my passion and write something, and here it is, it's finally happening.
4)
What was your impression of your first draft when you read it?
The hardest thing to do is to start. I doubted myself before penning down a word. But when I finished my first chapter and had a look at it, it turned out to be better than I expected. There were some flaws, likely expected, but it started rolling down very smoothly the more I wrote. At least I understood the emotion I'm trying to convey through the characters, which was a big win for me.
5)
Which part of your story connects the most with you? Why?
I'm a dreamer myself. I dream a lot, and I invest a lot in hard work to accomplish my dreams. In this story, the lead characters do the same and go beyond the limits to achieve their dreams. And this is where I feel the characters are very similar to me.
6)
What makes your book the one to read?
The book has an honest story about a dream which rotates around love and emotions. People will find themselves everywhere in the book. The characters will let you have a close walk through yourself. Readers will feel for the characters; they will get emotional. They will get attached to the character for a long. It's a long journey, and many of the situations will relate to most of us. So, in my opinion, the honest emotions in the book will attract readers to read it.
7)
What was the best advice you got while writing?
Try to feel the characters and express your emotions.
8)
Who's your all-time favorite author? Which book of his/hers made you fall in love with them?
To be very honest, I wouldn't say I like to read books much. Being a working professional and a professional sportsperson, I don't get much time to read books. Whenever I have some spare time, I like to travel instead.
9)
What is your evergreen tip to the writers out there?
Never take more than a month to complete your book. Don't get disconnected from your story; it will steal your emotions.
10)
Do you have another plot brewing?
Yes, I have a story to pen down next, and I have already started working on my next project. After this book, my focus will be on that one only.
