Author Interview Ranjit Diva Karan

1. Can you tell us a little about your book?

2011 for me was emotionally eventful. My vent and comforting distraction has always been pen and paper and so let it pour. When life bounced back to normalcy, I discarded the writings like a disposable blade used to drain an abscess. The pangs of life’s mystery struck again, and I resumed writing and that gradually resulted to more than hundred pages. The contents and experience weren't always directly related.

The thought to publish this into a book kept me sitting on the fence for too long and then decided against and destroyed it never to be visited again. The decision stayed for few years. However, the unsettling ache resurfaced multiple times and every time managed to bury it. But eventually realised that an unaddressed pain cannot be conclusively buried.

So this book finally got published, titled " FLAWED BALANCE ".

Though its fabric is fiction, some of the strands came from bits and pieces of what one can see, hear and experience in life.
