1. Can you tell us a little about your book?
By Each Other’s Side…. Till Eternity is a romantic novel. It is a sequel of my debut novella ‘He Never Kissed Me... But Kissed MY Soul’. This novel is bound to strike a chord with every reader. It is about two people who found love when they least expected to. It is a story of how two completely opposite people were always meant to be. Come fall in love with them as they continue to rise in love. Witness love like never before.
2. Is there a specific event that inspired this story or was this an out of the blue idea?
The story is inspired by glimpses of my real-life experiences and a little of my imagination. There isn’t a specific incident but various chapters picked from life.
3. What makes your book the one to read?
A love language novel. Anyone who picks it will have at least one glimpse of the journey that talks about theirs. You cannot complete the book without having a bit of you in the journey. Readers will have moments that will make them familiar with themselves. The book will give you both; adrenaline rush and goosebumps. It is bound to trigger every vein of your body and make you skip a beat or two. By Each Other’s Side.… Till Eternity will make you travel on a journey by staying at the same place.
4. What was the best advice you got while writing?
One of the best pieces of writing advice I got was from my mom. There were days during the writing of this book where I would be exhausted and would want to quit writing for a while. Mom would knock me back and tell me how important it is to write on a daily basis, even if it didn’t make sense, even if the story wasn’t going in flow, mom would still advise me to write.
5. Who’s your all-time favourite author? Which book of his/hers made you fall in love with them?
Nicholas Sparks. It is with his writings that I have learnt how to strike a chord with the readers. ‘A walk to remember’ is my all-time favourite book of his.
6. What is your evergreen tip to the writers out there?
Write. No matter what genre of writing you do, no matter how amateur you think you are, just write. Best books don’t get written overnight, best authors are not made overnight, everyone goes through ‘that’ phase that they will someday be so proud of.
7. What was your hardest scene to write?
The climax was the hardest scene to write. I would lie if I say I didn’t shed a tear or two or if the people who I worked closely with didn’t moist their eyes.
